Our little turkeys are almost old enough to move from their brooder to their new home which provides free access to water, pasture, certified organic grains, sunlight and space to roam and express natural behaviours. They will be available FRESH for our CSA supporters on Thanksgiving weekend!
Welcome!
Carrick Hill Farms is a small farm in Bruce County committed to producing premium quality meats from animals who have been raised with exceptional care. Our animals have access to the outdoors, the ability to express their natural behaviours and eat diets containing no hormones, antibiotics, steroids or GMO’s. We raise a limited amount of livestock each year allowing us to treat our animals with the dignity and respect they deserve.
We grow food for customers who share our Farmosophy of eating local, delectable and ethical foods to improve our environment, our health, and our local economy.
Carrick Hill Farms is based on the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model. This means our customers make prepayments and have input into what we grow on the farm. It provides us the upfront capital we need to purchase livestock and feed and helps our cash flow so we can focus on farming and producing food to meet our high standards. The CSA model is essential for our operation.
Please contact us for more information about our farming practices, our CSA program and future availability of turkey, chicken, pork and lamb.
